You have a very soiled load for your washing machine (grass stains, oily coveralls, baby stained clothes etc…) so you fill the soap dispenser to the top, where it says “Max”. That usually did the trick with your old washer, naturally you feel comfortable doing the same with your new washer. Once the cycle has finished you feel your clothes and they are still wet and sudsy.
While sometimes wet clothes can be a sign of a spinning issue, quite often it is a detergent issue with the new HE washers. The key to avoiding this issue is rather simple, you’ll just need to read over some directions. While your washing machine may have a “Max” fill line, that does not necessarily coincide with every specific brand and type of laundry detergent. Always read over your washing machines manual and before buying and using a detergent read through the instructions on the bottle/box. This may save you athe cost of a service call to have a technician tell you they cannot reduplicate the issue.
